All Star Swim School

Swimming Lessons

All-Star Swim School provides outstanding child swimming lessons in a trusted, safe and friendly environment parents trust to ensure every child acquires knowledge of proper swimming techniques, CPR, water safety, and other basic and intermediate swim techniques. At All-Star Swim School our philosophy is that every swimming lesson provides a stepping-stone to the next learned swim skill, until, at last, your child is the best swimmer he or she can be. We are committed to providing more than just swimming lessons; we want your child to be completely comfortable in the water, and to retain comprehensive knowledge of water safety.

Water safety is of utmost importance, and, because the first interaction with water may be with an All-Star Swim School instructor, we are highly aware of the importance of a healthy, optimistic environment that is conducive to building your child’s swim development and self-confidence. Overcoming fear of water can help a child handle future life challenges with gentle tenacity. Your child’s swim lesson experience will help build sturdy groundwork for matters such as future education and life lessons. The process of building self-confidence and trust in the water is crucial for children who are learning how to swim and how to love it.

At All-Star Swim School, understand that each child is unique. We address unique differences by adapting our program and techniques to fit the needs of each individual child. We work, one on one with each child and their parents to set specific goals to ensure they come away from their swimming lessons with a sense of accomplishment and a love of swimming.

Since 1998, All-Star Swim School has been teaching children to be swim safe swimmers, as well as gain a comprehensive understanding of the essential fundamentals of children swim development, such as stroke techniques, avoiding panic, floating, baby swimming, toddler swimming lessons and other important swimming skills.
Water safety:

Child water safety is our number one priority. It’s critical that every child always knows what to do in the water, whether or not in the presence of an adult. Additionally, every child should understand procedures to follow in the event of a water safety issue. Children will also learn beginning water skills, water safety, and basic water problem solving skills, including:

• Learning to get in and out of the pool safely
• Floating
• Breathing control
• Assisted horizontal swims
• Development of correct head and body orientation
• Beginning front crawl
• Sliding along pool wall
• Swimming to pool wall
• General water and pool safety
• Appropriate stroke and kicking techniques
• CPR
